The chef's kitchen at 9432 Oakmore Rd was built with kosher observance in mind. Dual sinks (one designated meat, one dairy) and dual ovens give a halachically clear separation of food preparation zones. The double-thickness counters allow for two simultaneous meal preps without contact between the surfaces. The pantry has divided shelving for parve, meat, and dairy storage with separate labeled drawers.

The dishwasher is positioned to be designated for one designation (typically dairy in observant households), and a secondary dish sink supports the second. Tenants taking a long-term lease are welcome to install a second dishwasher at their cost — the cabinetry has been pre-plumbed for it.

For Pesach changeover, the kitchen design makes kashering relatively simple: the granite counters are heat-resistant, the metal sinks accept boiling-water purification, and the oven self-clean cycle reaches the temperatures required for halachic kashering. Tenants are welcome to bring or store Pesach-specific cookware and dishware.
